Moji Airnut is a smart air quality monitoring device. It can monitor weather condition and provide notifications for temperature, humanity, CO2, PM2.5

About this Solution:

Airnut has integrated EMW3162 Wi-Fi module from Shanghai Mxchip. It can interact with cloud services and mobiles via low power consumption Wi-Fi technology. Moreover, it has applied Mxchip’s easy-link features, which can minimize the connection time to only 10 seconds.

EMW3162 module hardware configuration

  • Single operating voltage: 3.3V
  • Typical applications power consumption::
    • Keep Wi-Fi only about 7mA current
    • When to 20kbps data transmission (transmission cycle 100ms), the average power consumption of about 24mA
    • Stand by power consumption of about 8μA
  • Contains a 120MHz clock speed of STM32F2 microcontroller, embedded 1M bytes of Flash, 128k bytes of SRAM;
  • Contain the following peripherals:
    • 32 GPIO port
    • 1 SPI / IIS interface
    • 10 ADC input channels, two DAC output channels
    • 1 USB OTG port, two CAN interfaces
    • 1 I2C Interface
    • Each GPIO port has PWM input, output, and timer input and output channels
    • SWD Debug Interface
  • Full functionality of Wi-Fi connectivity
    • Supports IEEE 802.11 b / g / n, Wi-Fi bands 1-13
    • Transmit Power: 18dBm @ 11b, 15dBm @ 11g, 14.5dBm @ 11n
    • Receiver sensitivity: -96dBm
    • Data transfer rate: 11@802.11b, 54M@802.11g, 72M@802.11n
    • WPS 2.0
    • Encryption: WEP, WPA / WPA2 PSK / Enterprise
    • A variety of energy-saving mode
  • Onboard PCB antenna can also be connected to an external antenna via IPEX.
  • Each module has been specifically tuned RF and passed CE, FCC and other international certification
  • SWD debug interface
