About this Solution:

Anidea Engineering is a turnkey design house and manufacturing firm designed for startups and smaller to mid-sized companies. In house, we can design and build for a few units to help in validation, or we can outsource manufacturing overseas, it just depends on your needs.

Project Phases:

Proposal - Preliminary phase of the project where we lay out the basic structure of the development project with an estimated timeline and costs. The general contractual terms are also agreed upon.

Specification Phase - The first phase of most project is the Specification Phase. At this point we've had further interviews with the client and have begun the leg work to fully research and develop the project. The deliverable of this phase is a document which then requires the client's approval. Any discrepancies between the proposal and specification are addressed.

Engineering Phase - We work to realize your project in the real world. Depending on the goal of the prototype, whether be a proof of concept or first version, we engineer and develop the product to the specification document. This is generally the most intense phase of development. It generally includes long hours of engineering hardware, electronics, mechanical, and software systems. Because we use advanced modeling software for electronics and mechanical designs, the client can see what they are getting along the way and provide input to the engineering direction.

Prototype Phase - This is where we build your engineering design and bring your idea to life. We will machine metal, build printed circuit boards, procure materials, and assemble your product into something you can touch and feel and use.

Client Review and Incremental Engineering - We strive to realize all of your goals in our first prototype, but there is no substitute for holding your product in your hands and testing it. Any changes you want to make will be integrated into the design. The engineering and prototype phases can be iterated as necessary as design goals and market feedback change.

Manufacture - Ultimately, the client will want to manufacturer their product. Depending on the product, this may mean making a few or 100,000 units. When the client is happy with the product, depending on the product, we can manufacture or assist in the manufacturing process or support our client's in developing their manufacturing processes.

We'd have to have an extensive interview and 'getting to know you' phase before we could begin to define an appropriate solution.
