Product Line

Fluid Property Sensors

Engineered to operate under a wide array of pressure, flow, and temperature conditions. Our fluid property sensors bring real-time fluid monitoring to engines, fuel systems, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems, compressors, transmissions, gear boxes, Diesel Emission Fluid or DEF (urea) monitoring and many other applications. The high-performance urea quality sensor is also a urea concentration sensor (DEF sensor), used as an integral part of NOx emission control and compliance strategy when used in conjunction with SCR systems.

Humidity Sensors

Pinpointing humidity with accuracy. TE offers a broad range of calibrated and amplified sensors for measuring relative humidity. Accurate dew point and humidity measurements are made possible through the combination of relative humidity and temperature measurements. Our products are qualified for the most demanding applications, including automotive, heavy truck, and home appliances. Our sensors are designed and manufactured to exacting specifications, often on a custom basis. Photo Optic Sensors

Camera ready. Optic-based sensors include both photo optic components and complete sensor solutions. Our component series features dual LED, bi-wavelength emitters and spectrally paired photo detectors. TE's optics are ideally suited for medical applications for which the selection of peak wavelength is a priority, such as pulse oximetry (SpO2). We also package our optics into complete probe assemblies for pulse oximetry (SpO2) and provide platform accessories for monitoring applications. The pulse oximetry (SpO2) probe platform includes reusable finger clips, soft silicone boots, and a range of disposable sensors. Our sensors are designed and manufactured to exacting specifications, often on a custom basis. Piezo Film Sensors

Piezo film is flexible and pyroelectric. Piezoelectric fluoropolymer film produces voltage or charge proportional to dynamic strain. Highly versatile, flexible, robust, and chemically inert, Piezo Film is an enabling technology offering a thin cross-section and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 85°C. Our piezo film is well matched for high fidelity transducers working through high audio and ultrasonic ranges. The film is also pyroelectric, capable of generating >8V/°C. Position Sensors

Sophisticated designs offer advanced techniques. TE offers a wide range of sensing technologies such as magnetoresistive (MR), permanent magnet linear displacement (PLCD), linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) and resolver, and offers the complete spectrum from sensing element up to system packaging for harsh environments. TE has a long history of leveraging its engineering expertise in customized design, packaging and application know-how for customers. We offer both standard and custom position sensing solutions featuring our core technologies. Sophisticated designs and advanced manufacturing techniques provide reliable and cost-effective solutions for multiple applications.

Pressure Sensors

Our unmatched portfolio of intelligent, efficient and high-performing sensor solutions features pressure sensors, including transmitter components and transducers. Using MEMS and silicon strain gauge (Microfused) technologies, our sensors (deleted “products”) measure pressure ranging from inches of water (<5 mbar) to 100K psi (7K bar). TE's pressure sensors are used for a range of diverse applications in industries ranging from automotive to industrial, from medical to aerospace, from home appliances to test and measurement, and beyond. Pressure sensors can also be delivered as a MEMS silicon pressure die for very small embedded applications. Temperature Sensors

TE offers a wide range of temperature measurement, control, and compensation sensing applications. We manufacture NTC thermistors, RTDs, thermocouples, thermopiles, digital output, and customized sensor assemblies. Built on years of experience, our know-how allows us to cover one of the largest ranges of temperature measurement, control and compensation applications in the industry. TE’s global network of engineers offers custom solutions to meet customers’ exacting requirements. Vibration Sensing and Accelerometers

Advanced vibration sensing for rugged and harsh application environments. TE is a leading global provider of advanced design and manufacturing of accelerometers and vibration sensing for applications in aircraft design and testing, automotive design and testing, automotive safety testing, machine and structure monitoring and motorsport. We offer both DC-response (static) and AC-response (dynamic) types of accelerometers to meet your application needs.
